My dad has been teaching himself the ukulele with traditional Hawaiian music. I wonder what he would think of the Ukulele's renaissance as an out-of-place but-strangely-modern cover/expression instrument for scrappy individualists.

I'm sure it would depend on what you play for him.

And his mood. Like, if he had a bad day with the mafia I mean office that day.

Also... I think scrappy individualists will someday be all that's left in music.
