Found this...thought some of us could relate to it.

Balloon invasion, gamma bros

Damn, damn, damn. So while festering in my hatred towards Demon and his high scores on DTD I was perusing Kongregate and found this, and this, which have successfully ruined my sleep for the past few nights. That second one is especially interesting considering our recent conversation about old gen video games. They did a pretty good job incorporating a whole lot of what was good in the space genre, and actually kept it relatively simple at the same time. It'd be better with some Tettix, though.

Remember Pony's post about games that hack your brain? So here's something I saw on Destructoid from the 2008 Game Developer Conference. It looks pretty benign for the first few minutes, then it's all "hey, that's pretty cool," but then it's straight to "HOLY FUCKING CRAP."

I can't imagine what it must have been like to design levels for this game. Probably a room filled with autistic slave children and... erm, legos (so's I could get the label in there ^_^).
