People? This is the only post with the label "alcohol". This is shockingly irresponsible of us.
I cannot believe I just watched that whole thing.
Oh, come on. Robert Carlyle with that accent? I could watch him for hours just reading the obituaries.
I can't wait till Porno comes out. I been waiting for years.
That looked like it was filmed in one take. Is that possible? He passed all the points, the TVs, the John Walker portrait at precisely the correct moment of his monologue.
I agree with Fugu, I could listen/watch Robert Carlyle go on and on. The subtitles were helpful though.
I noticed the same thing, Odori. I figured it was intentional, so as to say later, "dudes. Filmed this in one take. Look at this shit. Check this shit out. One take, bitches."
I wonder how far he actually walked from the piper to the end?
I agree, Litcube. I must admit I'm very impressed with the skills of everyone involved in this commercial.
But, at the risk of insulting all my Scottish ancestors, I must ask: I thought Scots weren't supposed to have ambition. And that's why they/we were colonized by wankers.
(The "Trainspotting" scene where Renton offers this historical analysis is one of my all-time favorite film moments.)
I love that film moment so much I had to look up the quote and share. Renton, courtesy of imdb:
"It's SHITE being Scottish! We're the lowest of the low. The scum of the fucking Earth! The most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilization. Some hate the English. I don't. They're just wankers. We, on the other hand, are COLONIZED by wankers. Can't even find a decent culture to be colonized BY. We're ruled by effete assholes. It's a SHITE state of affairs to be in, Tommy, and ALL the fresh air in the world won't make any fucking difference!"
I thought the subtitles were a little distracting, but otherwise brilliant.
