This is a large question.
I'm with 'Cube on this one. Give us some criteria.
What's the most important criteria?
This is a koan isn't it?
42? Or maybe 69?
I'm going to throw this out here...Will the criteria be that the most important story be something that has been posted on this blong?
Yeah dude, we need you to narrow your scope. It's like when teachers tell kids to write about anything and they can never think of anything to write.
Ok, Pony, I don’t know the answer to your question because I’m not smart enough, but I believe the purpose of this exercise is to start from the top. The top level of criteria for The Most Important Story is:
It must be a story.
Second level, is that it must be important.
Second level, section 1:
As importance is subjective, we would require a method of gauging how important an indexed story within an array of all stories is to all individuals capable of intelligently comprehending stories. Once we’ve accumulated all stories in the Universe, we can then begin to poll its inhabitants.
That’s the hard part, I suppose. Once we have the data, I’ll volunteer to throw it in Excel.
Second level, section 2:
If subjectivity isn't important, and we can offer our own opinions, I'd hazard that the most important story is that of the birth of existence. AND IF IT SO TURNS OUT, that this whole fucking thing is some gameshow where I'm an unwilling participant, and you fuckers are laughing at me for taking this question seriously, then I will be so bombarrassed!
I'm right there with you LC. I have no clue what the hell this is about, and I have a feeling I might not like the answer.
If importance is subjective, then maybe he means is: what is the most important story to each of us, personally?
…I totally missed the Ultimate Question from Hitchhiker's as a Koan! Rad.
BTW, this is a koan like a Google interview question is a koan. The answer is not "I would google it."
the most important story is the torah because it along with it's spawn the bible and the koran they have fucked the most shit up throughout the history of human civilization.
ain't fiction grand?
