There's a moment in Foundation and Earth by Isaac Asimov where the characters enter the Solar System, looking for the long lost cradle of humanity. They see Saturn and flip the fuck out. They're completely shocked that a planet, even a gas giant, could have such massive rings. Then they see the relative size of Earth's moon, and forget all about it, because that's even more retarded.
