I'm seriously going to miss him from Buck Rogers.
Did he have a different stroke?
Hah!
Hey, doomsyllabus! A bunch of us are in Hawaii, too. Alohas.
The 80s we so horrible. What a nightmare of a decade.
I'm with 'Cube.
Not to start a flame war, but when stacked up next to the '90s (which they were), the '80s were a paradise, if a naïeve and silly one. In the '90s, everything I had started to enjoy in the '80s (music, comics, self-destructive celebrities) devolved into a self-conscious adolescent whine-fest.
I have no interest in defending this point--I understand that this is all a matter of the most subjective opinion, and if you guys like the stupid '90s (as I call them) that's totally cool with me.
Nah, the nineties sucked too. Except for the parts that were cool.
Like what? Help me understand this misunderstood (by me) decade.
I frick'en LOVED the 80's. Pretty much everything about the 80's was awesome. The music of that era is to me still some of the best ever. When I think of the 80's I think of The Police, The cars, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, RUN DMC, Public Enemy, NWA, etc... sure there was crap like Mr. Mister poisoning the airwaves as well but when I think of the 90's I think of crap like Creed... Fucking Creed = 90's
