I became a British citizen today!
I, Ruby Tenneco, swear by Almighty God that on becoming a British citizen, I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, her Heirs and Successors, according to law.

I use to work with two British guys for many years and when ever one of them came to visit the islands I would have to explain to others after meeting them for the first time that "he's not gay, he's British" which usually was followed by a slow "ohhh" as a reply ;)
