Giant Monster in My House

I was on the phone with Galspanic when I saw this giant mosquito (?) flying around my living room. It doesn't look like much now that I've murdered it, but when its wings were flapping, its legs and feeding tube flailing wildly, and with the blood-curdling scream it was emitting (the screaming part is a lie), it was pretty impressive.

Incidentally, does anyone know where I can buy either a very tiny or very giant penny? I think I could take some pretty cool photos if I had something like that.

Hey that thing is wayyy bigger than what I pictured from the way you were behaving. What the hell is that? It's probably actually the one bug that could save us from mosquitos, and you've killed it.

Pretty big. Is there something in Palolo that is encouraging giant mosquitos to breed?

Can't think of where you might find a giant or tiny penny. But a children's toy money set might have small coins or dollar bills. You could use the toy to teach Pony junior and Pony baby to become raging capitalists.

"to become raging capitalists"
To become????
Odori...have you looked at Pony junior's collection of Cars© brand toys lately?

I had a conversation with a co-worker and fellow parent today that went very much like this:

Donna: it seems like when we're not at home, Joshua wants all the flashy, plastic-y toys that we swore not to get
Mr. Pony: yeah, Turbo was exposed to licensed plastic very early on by Mrs. Pony's dad, and he's hooked. Maybe it's inevitable.
Donna: i really think it is, and am leaning towards giving in a bit
Mr. Pony: what's hard is finding wooden folksy stuff that's just as fun.
Donna: and just doing our best to balance it out with the wooden folksy stuff

Here's the point. Do you know what I made with my Lincoln Logs? I made X-Wing Fighters, is what I made.

I discovered a jar of olives in my closet, and made me some dirty martinis.

I make things.

Here's someone who claims to have a tiny penny, and this giant penny popped instantly into my mind when I saw your post.

P.S. Hawaii seems much scarier than I've always imagined. They sure don't mention the giant mosquitos, rednecks, and spam fritters in "Aloha Means I Love You." The dim sum sounds good though.

Bless you, Ruby. That thing always made me think of Batman as being terribly small.

Hawaii is fucking terrifying.
