This has tremendous potential to be developed into a whole wave of new annoying music videos.
I'd like to see what you could do with this in regards to still life drawings, but I wonder if the system could handle that much variation. It seems very vector based. Also interesting would be as Pony says, porn, but more for me the idea of being able to catch a human in multiple shots and angles and track them.
Very interesting for the surveillance community, I'm sure.

Hadn't thought of the surveillance possibilities. That's a little terrifying. Still, there aren't that many other places like Notre Dame that thousands of people are constantly taking pictures of. So many the potential for spying via Flickr is relatively limited. ??

I would have agreed with you Odori, up until oh..maybe the installation of the CCTV cameras on every street corner in every major city.
True, galspanic. I hadn't thought of the on-street surveillance cameras. Using the extreme closeup technology on photos taken from those cameras would give authorities all sorts of information about the average person they shouldn't have.
