Nice details. I have kind of a peeve with the "mysterious box chase" caper movies. I guess there's sort of an explanation at least. Very pretty robot. Love the detailing. I like the overall character design in this.
Wel, heck, I'm going to do this. Looks like it's on Steam, even. Good thing, because wow.
This means I'll have to do that thing where I use the mouse to aim. Fugu says that it's better, but boy, I don't know. I'm sure used to console controller aiming, which, I know is like underwater bullet time. I find it relaxing. What if I break my neck?
No, but I can run Windows on my Mac. Which I did, to play Portal. Which came in the Orange Box. Which I have! But I was talking about Half-Life 1... Should I avoid that? Is it too old?
I know, that's kind of strange, isn't it? I needed it to play Portal. My youngest son was also born right around then, if memory serves. I wanted to be able to tell him one day that I loved him more than most games. No one mention Portal to him.
You could buy/play Half Life "Source" which is the original Half Life ported over to the Source engine (half life2/portal/etc)... I don't have it myself but I hear it makes the original Half Life look modern and less Quake 2 engine looking.

Is it MacGuffins you're not into, or just Artifact of Attraction MacGuffins? (sorry)
Kinda both. My least favorite example of this is from Pulp Fiction, but Ronin (the film) comes a close second.
It just seems like such a cheap move.
And that link to comic is LOL.
God, THIS.
Half-life 2 combine, much?
It does?
What does?
What combines? Further, comBINE, or COMbine?
Well, look at the police in the first 45 seconds of the movie, and then the picture of the combines that are in the video game Half-Life 2.
Those things are called "combines"? They look like robot piggy Vader. I should really play Half-life!

Dude, I wish I were you. To play Half-life 2 all the way through with Episode 1 & 2, totally fresh, would rock. I wish I were you for that experience.

No, no. Get the orange box. Orange box includes HL2, Ep 1, Ep 2, Portal, and extras, for the price of one normal game...
Wait. You don't have a PC.

HL 1 is too old, and not required.
Did you not play HL2 and you have it? Dude?

Only if you never mention WoW to my sons.
