San Diego Comic-Con going on as we speak. Love the concept of this absurd counter-protest-- sure to bewilder the crazy right-wing religious nuts who are themselves masters of the art of offensive picket-sign slogans.
haha i was almost going to post this myself, same picture and everything! excellent counter protest idea. i don't even know what the westboro baptist people are protesting about comicon - not that they ever really feel the need for a coherent reason to protest a high profile event.
Also, a while back Lungclops linked me to an excellent documentary by Louis Theroux about the Westboro Baptist Church, the protesters here being counter-protested. Their hate is pungent and unsettling, like a big, foot-long, slightly rotting meat sandwich of hate.
