There's something weird going on here, like when a bunch of kids are playing freeze tag, and there's one kid trying to attach some kind of scoring system where players can advance in rank.

I was that kid. I was never happy with the current state of things, and was consistently accused of making things more complicated then they should be. "Why can we just play?" They'd say.
