These are moose steaks. They came from the moose I met. They are big steaks. That plate is a standard 10" plate. Moose steaks. I am cooking them tonight with blue cheese moose fond with caramelized onions and heavy cream.
I live in the Canada! I was on the opposite side of B.C. when I met this moose, but, it does involve Alaska. There's a highway called "The Old Alaska Highway". I met there moose very close to that highway (which is no where near Alaska, really).
They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI cooked them.
ReplyDeleteHow did the moose taste?
ReplyDeleteFrom what part of the moose did these steaks come? they look quite choice.

ReplyDeleteI also thought you meant "Sirloin" figuratively.
ReplyDelete"Sirloin"
ReplyDeleteIs this real? Where do you live that there are mooses scattered around for the eating? Is this some kind of Alaska-Hawaii thing?

ReplyDeleteI can't wait til the shit goes down, and we all flee to the Canadia and live with Litcube, and eat moose, and play stem powered RTS games.
ReplyDeleteThat will be pretty sweet, probably.
ReplyDeleteBelatedly, the moose looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteJust to recap (probably), these steaks are from the same moose that you felled with a single shot from nearly six and a half earth football fields away, isn't it? Or did you finish that moose already, and move on to another one?
ReplyDelete(How the fuck did he even see the moose to shoot it?)
ReplyDeleteGalspanic said under his breath.
